About the Artwork Endurance is a celebration of loyalty and perseverance. It is an Abstract-Gestalt work depicting Ernest Shackleton's ship, The Endurance, in its final moments before succumbing to the Antarctic pack ice. Although a grim foreshadow of the likely fate of the stranded crew, leadership and team grit overcame extraordinary adversity to deliver Shackleton and his crew home safely.
