We were concerned about making the table safe and not too frightening looking. The goal was to create a tent-like, secret cove space where kids could sit and play and feel hidden. Solutions We created the dragon's head, tail and feet out of green fur, felt, foam rubber and bean bag filling. The feet, head and tails are sewn to slipcovers that slide over the backs of the chairs. The wings are a kite covered in scaly material that matches the dragon's belly. The wings are sitting on a quadratic arch that is made out of wood and covered in green fur.
